“THE PIRATES DIE YOUNG” BOOK IS OUT
The first book by Mihail NO-MAD Kunchev is already in the book stores. Last night it was presented by the author in one of the most famous clubs in Sofia “Termnal 1”.
The book follows the NO-MAD on his adventures from the Balkans to the Middle East and tells the stories of the brave men and women he met there.
Some of the guests of the event were army special forces veterans, police special forces operators, members of the anti-terrorist police squad, rescuers, ER doctors and many more.
The book made big impact in Bulgaria, because it includes a first person testimony about a special army operation that was done in Iraq in 2004, which saved hundreds of Bulgarian and Polish lives in Karbala, but was kept in secret for fifteen years and just a few articles mentioned it since then. Because of the operation the US forces gave medals to the Bulgarian soldiers that were ready to sacrifice their lives to help their brothers in arms.
“The pirates die young” is among the fifteen new books that are recommended for the upcoming Spring book fair in Sofia.
